Layman Family Farms is happy to offer a unique country experience for many types of groups including scout troops, youth groups, family and friend gatherings etc. during our fall season hours of operation. All the fun activities are available for groups plus it’s just a short drive from Lynchburg and Roanoke making it convenient too!
“Groups” are considered to be a MINIMUM of 20 people, on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY.
GROUP POLICIES:
Group admission discounts are available to parties of 20 or more. Groups must be chaperoned by someone 21 yrs and older. Please understand that groups will not receive any type of guided tour or private access to activities (such as hayrides) and are not provided with a reserved area unless previously agreed and contracted. The group/party will not be supervised or entertained by Layman Family Farms staff, and will be among other guests on the farm. There are several public picnic tables that can be utilized. Group rate is only available on Saturday and Sunday only.
FOOD POLICY:
Sorry...Outside Food/Coolers are NOT allowed on the farm. Concessions is available until 30 minutes prior to closing.
If you would like to have a group meal or food vouchers redeemable at our concessions just let us know your thoughts and ideas and we can propose options that will accommodate your group’s needs.
The Fine Print...
Group host is responsible for making payment for entire group and distributing admission bands at the entrance to the farm
Admission bands can be picked up at the admissions booth upon arrival to the farm by a group representative
Admission bands are non-refundable
Group Discounts cannot be combined with any other type of discount
